Exciting Developments for It Won't Happen To Me

Since 2005 It Won’t Happen to Me has been a leader in helping young drivers and their passengers become  more responsible and therefore, safer.  In order to better focus efforts and improve program impact, the founders, Bill Richardson and Lauren Winborne, will be pursuing this vital mission of preventing accidents through separate organizations as of January 2011.

Bill Richardson is continuing his efforts to educate teens of the importance of making good decisions while driving in order to reduce teen traffic fatalities.  He speaks to school, churches, civic organization and other community venues across the country. He has also has developed an educational program for judges to utilize in their sentencing process in order to reduce the number of teen traffic violations.  Both of these programs are under the name of Teen Victim Impact Program.   For more information please send an email  to bill@tvip.org or visit our web site at www.tvip.org

Lauren Winborne's focus is on encouraging schools, associations and communities to prevent accidents that take lives and leave survivors impaired for life, and emphasizing decisions and their ramifications, under the name Steer Smart. Lauren continues to deliver programs throughout the country on this vital topic. For more information please visit www.steersmart.org or send an email to Lauren.winborne@steersmart.org.
